Governments, organisations and individuals have unitedly focused their efforts on immediate recovery from the health, economic and employment consequences of the Covid- 19 pandemic. This unified approach on a global level has brought hope that we can manage the climate change crisis in a similarly decisive manner.
Many countries, including India have already strengthened their climate actions to tackle the issue in an integrated, comprehensive and holistic way. As part of our country's commitment under the Paris Climate Agreement, signed in 2015, the temperature level needs to be maintained below 2 degrees.
To ensure adequate compliance to this commitment, GMR led airports across the nation are making consistent efforts. Over the years we have improved our systems with sustainable, waste-reducing and carbon-neutral technologies.
