Open to the Public, Designed for Everyone

One of the defining and most unique features of the Hyderabad Airport Run is its ‘open to public’ format. This year there were quite a few first time runners. Of course, the edition would be incomplete without seasoned runners, fitness enthusiasts, airport employees and families.

There were two categories like each year – 5K and 10K. The 5K run was non-competitive to encourage first time runners and families to participate, feel and have fun without the pressure of timing or ranking. The 10K run focussed on performance and winners were recognized across various categories - General Men, General Women, Veteran Men, Veteran Women, Senior Veteran Men and Senior Veteran Women ensuring that excellence was acknowledged across age groups and experience levels.

Catering to the needs of all kinds of participants each run had its purpose. This balanced format made the event inclusive while still celebrating athletic achievement.
