GMR Varalakshmi DAV School

GMR Varalakshmi DAV Public School, is a co-educational English Medium School affiliated to the CBSE. About 1180 students from the surroundings of Rajam study in the school.

The School is conducting various co-curricular activities and also encouraging students to attend Olympiad examinations (Organised by Science Olympiad Foundation, New Delhi).
This year the school bagged 40 Gold medals, 36 Silver Medals, 32 Bronze Medals from I Std. to X Std.
28 Gold medals, 27 Silver Medals, 22 Bronze Medals were secured by the students from Std. I to X students of DAV Public School in the International Olympiads conducted by Silver Zone Foundation, New Delhi.
In March 2015, 56 students appeared for Class X CBSE examination and all of them passed with 49 of them achieving distinction and 7 achieving first class.
The school secured Second position in Class X results among all DAV Public Schools of South Zone affiliated to CBSE for the academic years 2011-12, 2012-13 and 2013-14.

Seethamahalakshmi DAV Public School (SMLDAV)

Seethamahalakshmi D.A.V. Public School, Annavaram, Palakonda was established in 2004. It is a co-educational institution from LKG to Class X and it follows CBSE syllabus. The school is jointly run by GMR Varalakshmi Foundation and DAV.

  • The School bagged First position consecutively for 2 academic years i.e. 2013-14 and 2014-15 in CBSE Class X results out of all DAV Institutions in South Zone.
  • In 2013-14; Total students appeared 35, passed with 10 points -11 students, passed with A1 grade-28 and passed with A2 grade - 6 students and B1 grade - 1 student. Total 34 students passed in distinction (More than 75%).
  • In 2014-15; Total students appeared 48, passed with 10 points-27 students, passed with A1 grade-41 students and passed with A2 grade – 7 students. All students passed in distinction (More than 75%).
  • Apart from focusing on academic activities, several co-curricular activities such as commemoration of Joy of Giving programs, Swachh Bharat programs etc. are conducted to foster the holistic development of the children.
