Dreamliner makes India debut, lands at IGI airport Back

The Boeing 787 Dreamliner, 1 one of the lightest and most fuel-efficient aircraft, made its maiden landing in India at the Delhi's Indira Gandhi International Airport on Wednesday. The Boeing 787 arrived from Japan around 1030 am and will remain stationed at Terminal-3 of the IGI Airport till Saturday morning before leaving for Mumbai. The jumbo aircraft, capable of carrying around 250-300 passengers on direct journey up to 15,000 km, was given a water canon salute by private airport operator DIAL on its arrival to the national Capital.
