Four private equity (PE) funds have invested $131 million (around ^585 crore) in GMR Infrastructure Ltd's subsidiary GMR Airports Holding Ltd.

The investment by Standard Chartered Pvt. Equity (Mauritius) III Ltd, JM Financial-Old Lane India Corporate Opportunities Fund I Ltd, Build India Capital Advisors Lip and JM Financial Trustee Co. Pvt. Ltd has been made in the form of compulsorily convertible preference shares in GMR Airports, GMR Infrastructure said on Wednesday in a statement to the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
