GMR Group’s sixth national highway project, Tindivanam to Ulundurpet measuring 73 km on NH-45 on the Chennai - Dindigul National Highway, commenced commercial operations in July 2009.
Won through an international competitive bid from National Highways Authority of India, the scope of the Tindivanam-Ulundurpet project included widening of the existing 2-lanes to 4-lanes and Design, Construction, Development, Finance, Operation and Maintenance of the existing road.
Executed on a BOT (Toll) model, for a concession period of 20 years, the project took two and a half years for completion.
Built to world-class standards, the highway has ensured smooth flow of traffic while also providing a significant boost to trade and commerce in the region.

| We own 74.0% of each of the Tuni-Anakapalli road project and the Tambaram-Tindivanam road project, and 100% of each of the Adloor Yellareddy-Kalkallu road project, the Ambala-Chandigarh road project, the Faruknagar-Jadcherla road project, and the Tindivanam-Ulunderpet road project. |
