GMR Group accomplished yet another business milestone on Oct 11, 2004 by achieving commercial operation of the longest BOT annuity project in the country, 29 days ahead of schedule. This is one of the few projects of the National Highways Authority of India to earn the privilege bonus for early completion.

In addition to being an engineering feat of sorts, the project includes two major bridges, three railway over-bridges, two toll plazas, four flyovers and one trumpet interchange. Our JV Partner United Engineers ( Malaysia) Berhad has undertaken the Engineering, Procurement & Construction (EPC) contract on a turnkey basis and operate and maintain the stretch till Nov 8, 2019, till the end of the concession period.
