The GMR Group's third power generation project is a natural gas based thermal power plant with an installed capacity of 388.5 MW. It is located at Vemagiri, 12 kilometres away from Rajahmundry in Andhra Pradesh. The plant commenced commercial operation in February 2008

• M/s Gas Authority of India Ltd. (GAIL) is the Natural Gas (Fuel) supplier
• The water source is from upstream of River Godavari
