GMR's Barge mounted power plant is an environment friendly, Naphtha based plant. For its compliance with internationally- benchmarked environmental standards, the plant received the ISO 14001 and OHSAS 18001 certifications from Det Norske Veritas. GMR Energy was commissioned in November 2001.
