The integrated sugar complex in Haliyal, Uttar Kannada District, Karnataka has an initial crushing capacity of 3,500 tonnes cane crushed per day (TCD), which can further be expanded to 5,000 TCD. The sugar complex produces superior grades of M-30 and S-30 sugar.
The in-built co-generation unit of the plant has a capacity of 24 MW while it’s distillery’s capacity is 45 Kilo litres per day (KLPD). The distillery unit manufactures rectified spirit, ethanol and E.N.A.
The project provides direct and indirect source of employment to over 2000 people
The plant was commissioned on 1st December, 2008.
